The Girls’ Rugby team went to 4 wins, no losses in league play with a 27 to 10 win over a strong Lord Tweedsmuir side.  Our girls gave and got a physical pounding, but Abby’s teamwork and determination was the difference.  Three tries were scored by Natalie Teteris who was chosen Player of the Match, just as much for her solid tackling and inside crashes.  Kayla scored again but the crowd favourite, which set the cockles of Mr.Myers heart ON FIRE, was prop Taylor McLean, sprinting in support down the sidelines to score in the corner.  Captain Lauren Arthur, Veronica Flores, Jessica Sabourin and Cherie Struthers were all noted for outstanding play.  Next up, the team is at Bateman on Tuesday and Heritage Park  on Thursday.

Multi-Culture Club will be celebrating Vaisakhi this week.~ Join us this Monday at lunch in room C211.
