Girls’ Rugby team – please change immediately after school.  Practice starts early today at 2:40 pm and will end early.

Grade 12 students – see Mrs. Webster for your local Grade 12 teacher to provide your height for grad gowns.  DO IT TODAY.

Attention Staff and students.  Don’t forget about the Abby Collegiate Jazz Band Dessert/Dance fundraiser next Friday, April 8^th in the Abby Arts Addition.  Doors open at 7:30pm.  Tickets on sale in the front foyer each day at noon.  $10.00 each.

Attentions all Grads:  Grad Transitions Booklets were due before Spring Break.  If you still have not completed your booklet you have until April 8 to do so before Prom Tickets go on sale.  There are interview sign up sheets just outside the office.  Simply pick a date and write your name on a sign up sheet and Ms Campbell, Mr Campbell, Mr Davies or Mr McDonald will conduct your exit interview some time on the date you picked.   Hurry! Do not delay!

Panther Race Team meeting after school today (Thursday) in room E101.  All race team members must attend.

There will be a VERY IMPORTANT grad committee meeting in Room C214 at lunch today.  We will be making some important decisions regarding your prom!!  If you haven't attended a grad committee meeting yet, it isn't too late to get involved!!  Feel free to join us today, we need as much input as we can get!

Multi-Culture Club will be celebrating earth day next week – join us Monday at lunch in room C211 – newcomers are welcome.

Congratulations to Dillon McGuire, Tanner Storoshenko, Dallas Yassinsky, and Jesse Neufeld for being invited to the final camp in May to make the provincial football team.

Congratulations to the Girls’ Rugby team for their 49 – 14 won against Hansen.  Tires were scored by Jade, Veronica and Amanda Labbe.  Shelby and Tiffany each had 3 tries.  Player of the Match was awarded to scrum half Amanda Labbe with honourable mention to Joyce and Melody Algera.  Thanks to all the fans.

There will be a meeting for students and parents on Wednesday, March 30 at 7 PM in W119 to discuss the Europe 2012 trip to Ireland, England, and France.  If you would like to participate on the trip, please attend this meeting with Ms Saenger, Mr. Fetterly, and Ms MJ.  The trip is open to all Abbotsford Collegiate students.

The senior girls’ soccer team takes on Walnut Grove Secondary at Babich Park today at 3:30.  All girls are reminded that they need to be at the field ready to warm-up at 3:00.  If you need information about getting to the field, see Mr. Fetterly in S210 at lunch.

There is an important meeting for all 30 Hour Famine participants in the Old Gym at lunch today.  Even if you are just wondering about the event you must come out.

~Grade 12 students - You have 1 more days to complete your Grad Transitions Booklet and book an exit interview with a counsellor or an administrator!  Hurry and get this done so you don't miss our chance to buy Prom tickets on April 8.

The following LINK leaders need to give their completed lesson evaluation forms to Ms Campbell:  Harpinder, Pavan, Jaswinder, Preet, Aneesha, Cory, Emily, Kristie, Jaymee, Jacquie and Saru.

The following LINK leaders will be teaching their lesson immediately after Spring Break so please come see Ms Campbell immediately after these announcements:  Tyler,  Sam Higgins, Paige, Austin, Jenny, Mashia, Saru, Camille, Mahrukh, Alicia, Cassandra, Iqra and Chantel.

HEAT TICKETS ARE HERE!  If you bought tickets, they will be ready for pick-up at lunch in the front foyer.  Don't forget to wear school colours to the game!  If you don't have tickets yet, it's not too late - they can still be purchased at the ticket window on game night for the $16.00 price.  Ask to be in OUR section, Section 115.

Anyone running in the Sun Run with the Abby team MUST sign up for the bus by this Friday with Ms. Harrop in room N111.

All members of the senior girls soccer team.  You are excused from class at 1:00 today.  Your bus for ATSS leaves at 1:15.  See Mr. Fetterly if you have any problems.

Girls Rubgy team.  The bus for Brookswood leaves from the front of the school at 1:45pm for our game.

Attention music students - as you know, Purdy's chocolates are now on sale.  Catalogues are available in you can go to the music room.  As an incentive to sell, any student who sells more than $400 will earn a prize, and there will be a grand prize for the student who sells the most.  Orders are due the first week back after break, so make sure you work hard during the holiday to sell lots of chocolate!  Remember, Disneyland is only a year away!

Reminder to Staff and Students.  Wednesday and Thursday this week are early dismissal days.  The bell schedule will be as follows:

Period 1               8:10 – 9:15

Period 2                       9:20 – 10:25

Lunch                    10:25 – 11:10

Period 3                 11:15 – 12:20

Period 4                 12:25 – 1:28

There will be a hour long yearbook class after school today for the students working on grad quotes.

Attention Music Students - a friendly reminder that your Neufeld Chicken Orders are due TOMORROW.  Sell, sell, sell!

Abby Collegiate girls’ soccer tryouts continue on Tuesday from 2:45 to 3:45 and on Thursday from 3:00 to 4:00.  As practice may be moved indoors, see Mr. Fetterly after school for the location.

Attention Grads:  The Grad Committee Meeting has been POSTPONED to NEXT TUESDAY.  Our next Grad Committee meeting will take place on Tuesday, March 8th in Mrs Janzen's room W123.

Attention ALL GRADE 9 Personal Project Students: There will be a meeting today at lunch in room C218, that's Mrs. Huff's room, to go over your personal projects.  All students who have signed up to do this project MUST attend, so please bring your lunches and arrive promptly at 11:00.

Basketball fans – be sure to have your signed permission forms for the bus today.  Mr. Funk will be at the bus collecting them and if you do not have a signed form, you will not be allowed to board the bus.
