A reminder to all Grade 12ís that your 7 page application package for the Abbotsford Community Scholarships and Bursary program is due no later than TODAY at 3:00pm.

Have you ever wanted to see the Berlin Wall? Drive the Autobahn? Visit the historical cities and castles of old Europe and Germany? Come to the music room today at lunch for an information meeting with Mr. Cornies on how you can be a part of this experience next spring break.  All students are welcome to join. Have an unforgettable experience in Germany, Austria, Hungary and the Czech Republic!

"Congratulations to all the staff and students who participated in this years Desert Theater.
Once again, the dedication and expertise of the staff was evident in a well run play.  Student actors were once again a pleasure to watch perform."  It takes hundreds of hours of practice and preparation to put on a performance such as "Fools", so thanks again to all the staff and students for your commitment to such a worthwhile activity.

Attention Abbotsford Collegiate, the Student Prayer Group will now be meeting on Thursday's at lunch in Portable #3.  We've gone from Wednesday, to Friday, and now Thursday!

Attention Junior Choir students: There will be a brief, but mandatory meeting in Ms. Hardless's room, Room C218, at the start of lunch today.  All Junior Choir students must attend at 11:00 to discuss Thursday's Choir performances.

1.  Alex Mitchell won the prestigious NATIONAL Loran Scholarship, which means that she gets 4 years of tuition paid and a chance to travel.
2.  Wesley Fritzke for being accepted to Shad Valley at a Canadian University for their summer program.

Cost is only $5 unless you pre-purchased a yearbook - in that case they're free. Deadline is February 26.  Baby Grad photos that were submitted earlier are now ready to be picked up.

Today from 3:00 to 4:00  is the last day of soccer tryouts on the Soccer field next to Abby Middle.  If you want to play for the senior girls soccer team this year, you must attend the tryouts.  If you have any questions, please see Mr. Fetterly in S210 or Mrs. Morrison.

Attention all Grade 9 students and LINK Leaders - Our next Grade 9 Link Crew Event is a Skating at ARC from 5 - 6 pm on Thursday, Feb 18.  Come early for hot chocolate and timbits.  Remember you need a ticket, your student id and you must provide your own transportation to and from the ARC.  Make sure your ride is there by 6:00 to pick you up!

Due to the PRO-D Day this Friday, the Abbotsford Collegiate Prayer Group will be meeting tomorrow, Thursday at lunch.~ Everyone is welcome to come on out, and remember... The Prayer Group will be this Thursday!

The Pennies for Patients fundraising drive has officially begun at Abby Collegiate.  Leadership students have been and will continue to come around to your block B classes to collect coins to donate to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society of Canada in their search for a cure for blood cancers affecting young children.  Please take the time to look between the cushions of your couch, under your beds and anywhere else you may have some spare change lurking and bring it in.  There are donation boxes in the office and there will be several fundraising events in the coming weeks, so please take advantage of this great opportunity to make a difference.  Let's fill that piggy bank in the front office to help save kids!

Tonight at the Clarke Foundation Theatre is the play ìSpeak and be Heardî.  It is a community art project meant to inspire communication between all walks of life.  Itís about educating viewers, and getting them to bring out their powerful. compassionate, creative, original, internal power.  The show starts at 7:00 pm and admission is by donation.  Come out and support your community.

Tonight at 8:00pm our Senior Boys Basketball final league game will be held at Bateman Secondary.  Come out and support our team.  

There is an important Key Club meeting today at lunch in Room C214.

At lunch today, the Girlís Basketball team will be selling candy grams for Valentineís Day in the front foyer.  They will be selling them until February 11th.  All  Candy grams will be delivered on February 12th.

Grade 12's wishing to apply for the 2010 Abbotsford Community Scholarships and Bursaries can pick up the book and necessary paperwork in the Counselling Centre.

The Olympic Torch Relay will pass by the McDonaldís restaurant on South Fraserway on Sunday, February 7th between 4 ñ 6 pm.  If you plan on watching this great event, drop by the office for a coupon for a free coke from McDonaldís.

ANY Grade 12 student who had Grad photos taken, your proofs are in the office. Students who just had a photo taken for yearbook also have a package to pick up.

Grade 10 students applying for CTC programs.  Your application is due at the CTC office by Friday, February 5th.

Attention all Grade 9 students:  The next Grade 9 Link Crew Event will be Skating at ARC from 5 - 6 pm on Thursday, February 18.  Your LINK leader will have tickets available next week in your Grade 9 homeroom.  This is a free event but you must have a ticket and a student id to attend.  

Sarai Doradea, Gagan Parmar and Raman Kaler are to see Ms. Tsuyuki in N102 at the beginning of lunchtime today.

Donít delay, pick up your art work today.  Students who have projects left in the art room are reminded to pick them up at lunch or after school as soon as possible.
