Please listen carefully – All students with a valid academic reason for a course change, you must sign up today for an appointment to see a counselor. Tuesday will be the last day for Semester 1 course changes. See Mrs. Doan in the Counselling Centre.
There will be a mandatory meeting for all students in Peer Tutoring for Semester One only at 11:00 am on Friday, Sept. 10th in W119.
Do you like saving money? Come on. You KNOW you do! Well, you're in luck. The Abby Music Department is selling SPCs (That's Student Price Cards). If you buy them from us, you will save the tax. They come to $9 even. Save money at all your favorite retailers and food joints. Find a music student, Miss Hasiuk or come to the music room for more information.
Interested in scholarships. There is a very worthwhile scholarship presentation this Saturday, September 11 at 9:00 am at W. J. Mouat. $5.00 admission but worth it if you are motivated in applying for free money!
Leadership 11/12 students – Classes begin Tuesday, September 14th at 7:00 am in the library.
Grad Committee meeting Tuesday at lunch in C214. All Grads welcome.
A reminder to students to hand in their demographic or student information sheets to their homeroom teachers asap. Please make sure the information on the sheet is updated and correct. Homeroom teachers please check the sheets for a parent email address. All students who have returned their completed and updated sheets by next week will be eligible for a draw to win amazing prizes!!
If you are interested in playing rugby with the Abbotsford Youth Rugby Squad please pick up an information sheet in the office.
Any student interested in going Windsurfing on September 17th, there will be a brief meeting today at 11:00 sharp in the new gym.
Coaches are reminded of the brief lunchtime meeting today in N115.
Any student wishing to join this year's cross country team are invited to attend the informational meeting on Monday at lunch in room N113. First practice is Tuesday after school. See Mrs. Webster for details.
The Abby Collegiate Run for The Cure Fundraising Team is up and running again! If you would like to participate in the 5kms or 1km run or walk to support breast cancer research on Sunday Oct 3, please see Mrs. Webster for an application form TODAY!
