Attention - All Grade 9 students- Our next Grade 9 LINK Crew Activity, Pajamapalooza II, will take place on April 22 here at AC. Wear your pajamas, bring your teddy and come join the LINK leaders for a movie and free popcorn. Talk to your LINK leader for details.
The following LINK Leaders need to report to their Grade 9 Homeroom immediately after these announcements. Please be sure to bring all your materials and your lesson plan. - Krista, Chelsey, Ellen, Makaela, Allyson, Jeet, Max, Brianna, Chyna, Anna, Jaemin, Raelynn, Carson, Caitlin, Cassie, Brianna and Ashley Carroll. Most of these LINK leaders also need to sign up for your game in May on the chart paper outside Ms Campbell's office!!
All Abby students, who are interested in going to see the Bard on the Beach performance of 'Much Ado About Nothing', please pick up an application form in W119 from Ms MJ between April 12 and April 16th.
Completed applications need to be handed in ASAP as there are only 43 tickets.
There will be a short HIB meeting in W119 at 11 am today.
Are you in grade 11 and interested in being trained as a Heavy Equipment Operator before you graduate in grade 12? You can earn graduation credits while you learn to operate Heavy Equipment. Registration for next year's program is on now until the end of April. If you would like more information or an application package, please see Mr Burns.
Tomorrow at lunch in Portable #3, the Abbotsford Collegiate Prayer Group will be hosting a DVD series called Quest.~ There will be free pop there! And everyone is welcome to come out!
Thank-you to the 250 students who came out yesterday to watch the talent show. The winners of Abby's Got Talent have been decided. After much deliberation after the show, the judges were able to make the tough decisions for first, second, and third place. Congratulations to all the performers. The level of the talent this year was incredible. The performers that finished from 4th to 7th will each receive $25.
In third Place and $50: Rachel Patterson with her vocal and guitar performance.
In Second Place and $50 Tawny Spenst with her vocal performance.
And in First place and the winners of $100. Tia and Cassandra with their Mario and Luigi Tap Performance.
You may pick up your prize cheque next week in the office.
